Also refreshing was to see renewed community interest inspired by a more diverse and representative group of newer homeowners alongside longer term residents. Their mutual interest gave sense that with some fresh thinking and board support, the Village of Jefferson could easily regain its community pride and spirit, possibly even surpassing that experienced in the 1970's and 80's. Such reawakening would benefit everyone living here, not only in terms of improved lifestyle but also in home values. With a little inspiration, we could be on the very edge of a great community renaissance!
The 2018 VOJ Easter Egg Hunt Returned on Saturday, March 24, 2018
VOJ held the Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday March 24 at 2:00 pm in the Upper Park area, known as the Ron Sanders Memorial Park. The hunt was open to all children in three different age groups: 0-3 years, 4-7 years and 8-10 years. The VOJ Egg Hunt has always been a very popular event and great fun for all the kids.
Thanks to Board Members Jenifer Dull, Regina Huffman, Mary Mickey, Paul Callahan and Paul Strong for their efforts in making this year's event a well attended success, in spite of the cold weather.

Past Road Repairs
Added road improvements were recently made to Wayles Drive and Shelton Ct. as another planned phase in resurfacing our streets. Pioneer Paving was selected once again as they've consistently proven themselves to not only be competitive in pricing but also in the quality of work. Additionally they've gone above and beyond by providing added value other paving companies wanted to charge extra. Thanks to them and crew for completing another stretch in almost 6 miles of roads!
Your annual assessment pays for this and also the costs for street lighting, 47 acres of common ground maintenance, playgrounds, winter snow removal and all other aspects of daily living in our community at a cost of only .80¢ a day! Please make sure you pay your assessment when due to continue receiving these services.
